Friday Reads

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you have probably seen me talking about Friday Reads.  What is that?  Why thank you for asking.  It’s only the coolest thing that you aren’t doing yet.  Friday Reads is simple.  Are you ready?  Got your pencil handy for note taking?  Don’t worry, I’ll wait….okay

1.  Pick a book to read today or keep reading a book you are already reading (anything counts, including picture books to your kids at night).

2.  Tell everyone about it.  You can link to the Friday Reads blog here.  You can tweet it on Twitter.  Or you can “like” them on Facebook and comment.

3.  Then you sit back and read what everyone else is reading.  You get great recommendations, there are some awesome give-aways for randomly selected people and at the end they compile the “Best Read List”.

So click on over and show the world how much reading means to you!  If for nothing else, show them that you know how to read.  Come on, every time you do Friday Reads a fairy gets her wings..probably.

"The greatest gift is a passion for reading. It is cheap, it consoles, it distracts, it excites, it gives you knowledge of the world and experience of a wide kind. It is a moral illumination.” -Elizabeth Hardwick
